VP of Business Development

Scott has over 30 years experience in leadership, management, operations and business development in a variety of industries. He has broad experience in the oil and gas business, ranging from being an investor in oil and gas wells to serving in management capacities and supervising operations. He helped lead the successful turnaround and sale of Total Well Solutions (TWS) to Flotek Industries in 2006. TWS manufactured and serviced electric submersible pumps and down-hole gas/water separators for coal bed methane wells in the Powder River Basin. He was brought in by the Board of Beard Oil Company to supervise and oversee a high volume extraction/dewatering project in Kay County, OK. This project required the use of large HP electrical submersible pumps and separation equipment to achieve daily oil production targets.

Before entering into the oil and gas business, Scott spent 20 years in the consumer packaged goods industry. He served as President of his firm Brown Brokerage Company and oversaw the growth of the business from 16 employees to 115 employees between 1993 and 1999 by expanding into the Kansas City, Wichita and Springfield markets. He then sold his company to Acosta Sales and Marketing Company located in Jacksonville Florida and remained with Acosta as Senior Vice President. While at Acosta, he designed and built a vertical sales organization around the largest grocery wholesaler in the United States. This sales organization generated $1.3 billion in sales and encompassed more than 450 sales associates.

Scott is a native of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and has a BS in Public Administration from the University of Southern California. He and his wife Jana reside in Oklahoma City.
